As Machiel pointed out, who should know as he is a chemist, it’s Mole Day from October 23 (10/23), from 6:02 AM to 6:02 PM.

That’s today! So, for everyone who is fond of

which is the number of molecules in one mole: Happy Mole Day!

(The mass of one mole (in grams) is equal to the atomic weight of the molecules involved. Once you get used to that strange number up there, it makes life – or at least chemistry – much easier. )
